im definatly not afraid of work. Im just afraid of loosing my right hand because i dont use powertools it hurts your hand after a while. Your right it is an addiction

it isnt that hard at all. All you need is a lot of sandpaper and time. Go to your local autozone or autoshop and buy 220-2500 grit paper and your set.

Since you are doin mostly handwork on your bike outside, whenever possible wet sand. Maybe have a hose directed on your work set on a steady drip. It will speed up your progress and make your paper last alot longer. Dry sanding is fast initially but the paper loads up with the aluminum pretty fast and become useless. The water rinses this away.
