i want to paint my black black that are currently white but i keep geting told if i paint them itll wear off whats the best way to paint plastics and how reliable?

i would just have a local auto paint shop doit,if i wanted it to last. they have special chemicals they us before laying the paint down that will bond to different materials allowing the paint to adhere to it better. i actualy had a wooden gun stock painted lambo pearl orange and it didnt even look like wood anymore it looked like plastic,i ended up doin one for my girls after that. so a auto paint shop should be able to pant anything and have it last longer than doing it yourself

hes right but the cheap way out is get some 200 grit sand paper and rough up the plastics, wash them well ... let dry, then go get some krylon fusion paint from your local walmart or wherever find the color u want then use accordingly

my dad has eveything to paint it with (bodyshop for 25yrs) but got out of it cause he was always sick and i dont feel like paying $100 for some yahoo to paint my plastics when i can do it for the cost of sandpaper and paint... guys round here stupid expensive..

just take your time and put multiple thin layers on so it don't run and adheres better

I've had good luck with Krylon Fusion.
