Default Should a new crank be welded?

I have a brand new stroker crank coming for my Banshee. It's a Hot Rods 4mm with 5mm longer rods. Should I have it welded or is it strong enough already?

Also after what amount of horsepower do you want the crank to be welded? 1 or 2 cylinders both...

Well I just talked to the fine folks over at Inland ATV and they assured me the Hot Rods stroker crank is already welded and ready to go.

Thanks guys I feel much better now. I'm not gonna be putting out crazy horsepower but it's one of those things I dont want to regret not doing now.
