damn, no helmet, no flag, no brains (literally). out here u must have a flag that is 9 feet off the ground while your machine is in motion. the helmet law is only in effect untill you are 18 but if your stupid enough to not wear one you deserve the consequences.

Maine doesnt require flags at all and helmets only for under 18. Kinda stupid.

LOLOL!!!!!!! Being raised by a vet with a bad attitude and too much combat experience makes for a girl that most men end up being very afraid of. You wouldn't be the first to make the mistake of believing that.

Well, actually, most times theres an accident, it's like that idiot in the video. A small bit of funnin', then a small bit of not payiny attention. Or just thinking something stupid like "hell, it's just a lil ole 80cc toy". When someone has something like a Cheetah Cub......well, they usually have enough snap to wear a lid.

'Nother funny for ya. A few years back, I took a little 12yr old buddy of my daughters out riding. Put him on a 98 KX80. Showed him how to start it, choke, kick, petcock, kill button, ect. Told him to keep it slow at first, work himself into a groove before trying anything stupid, you know. He starts it up, puts it in gear, and like all new riders he stalls it out 55 million times. He finally gives it enough gas to go. Man oh man. Never showed a new rider THAT green before. I didnt even to think to tell him where the brakes were, didnt even come to mind I'd need to as I had never had to with anyone before. No crap, he pins the throttle and screams down the dirt road!!!! I see his legs drop after about 100ft and he starts digging furrows. I chased this poor terrified kid down the road for a good half mile, him winning the whole way with me on foot. He finally see's a truck barrelling down the road in front of him, so he turns it into the trees on the side. Well, the bushes, trees, and other road side debris helped him come to a very abrupt stop with his head resting on a rock-wall fence. The helmet saved his ass that day, period. When I asked him what happened, well, suffice to say that besides not knowing where the brakes were.....he honestly didnt know that to slow down you had to roll the throttle back the way it came. To this day, while he can more than hold his own on a quad, he just doesnt care for the 2-wheelers.
