i used ot ride al l the time without a helmet ,figured it was too hot and awkard ,but anymore after seeing some of these insurance agency pics post up of motorcycle and atv accidents ...it sunk in and now i wont ride without one ,its always that quick run around the yard when your least expecting that you fal l or get bucked o ff while jackassing around .it isnt worth your life guys ,a human head can only endure so much trauma ,one swift unprotected fal l and you can potentialy die

i had a accedent a year ago.....had a 1997 400 kodiak roll ontop of me ....not fun havein a 600+pound bike slam into your hip ....with alota momentom.......i did not have my helmit on but the bike stayed away from my head.........KNOW I ALLWAYS WEAR IT.....dont be dumb and think you invincable....two of my good friend just crashed this weekend.....head on one going up a gravel hill and one jumping off the top of it.....needless tosay....its was bad....and they got really lucky with just a concustion and a brused kidney

i always wear a helmet unless im ripping up my camp road which is the place i should probably b wearing the helmet the most..my dad would get so pissed if i dont wear a helmet in the winter we were driving our sleds and it was really sunny and he was ripping and he though he was gonna go into the sticks cause of the sun so he took a sharp right the studs and carbides caught flipped him oner on the side landed on his leg and i dont usually like to watch as my dads head is bouncing off the ice.. he was kind of hurt we broke the windshield the cab and the underneath thing

An old friend of mine wanted to learn to drive an atc so I brought over 2 trikes to his house one 84'200es big red and a tri-z 250(Loved it). Figured i'd let him get used to auto clutch shifting before clutching so he takes a few laps around his back yard and decides to drive through some rope swings in his barkyard and the rear baloon tire catches a swing and twists in the tire and axle and of course he revs it wot and the tires are 2+ feet of the ground and the swing sets leaning to the side with a cracked wooden frame.

I figure it's a freak accident kinda thing and nothing else should happen and let him drive the tri-z while I untied the big red he's doing a couple more laps and hits the set again this time the front fork crashes into the set in third and bent the front end badly. Handlebars facing straight front tire 25 degrees to the right.

Rest of the day swing set still didn't fall but wasn't usable so we axed it up made a bon fire called a few people over wood was treated with a chemical green smoke some guy breathed it in acting like he was high then grabbed a can of ether went to shoot it in the fire, can was the wrong way around and blasted himself in the eye.
