| Lol no. A bigger carb might be good if I was just going for top end power on the ice. I want nice usable power for the trails. The low end would be a dog with big venturis. Mudlites! ![]() ![]()

| Thanks PB. I know I went against most other's advice on tires, but the voice in my head keeps reminding me of all the muddy crap I used to go through in New England where I would have killed for a set of mud tires. Oh and it is geared low enough to handle 22's. I found a guy on ebay that sold me an abnormally big rear sprocket, and the front is a 12 tooth.

| ya a stock blaster is choked a bit on the stock 26, so the absolute smallest i would use on that would be like 32-34, on my stock R engine i used to have a 36mm and i had PLENTY of torque |

| Mine came from he factory with a 38 and it was 80cc's smaller then your monter. It had hella torque. I still use a 38mm and the torque almost pulls my arms outah socket right off idle. Believe me if you wanted you could get at least a 35mm.

| ya your probly losing torque since the motor is so starved |

| Sorry people. It seems there's some confusion here. The model number is PJ26C, not the carb size . I'm pretty sure it's a 38mm carb, but I don't have the manual in front of me. The carbs on my RZ350 are 26mm and much smaller. Link to info on an 89 CR250 carb: http://www.cyclechaos.com/wiki/Honda_CR250R#1989 EDIT: I have the manuals in front of me. Stock carb on an 83 CR480 is PE45C (38mm) and stock carb on an 89 CR250 is PJ26C (38mm) Actually all the carbs on 88-91 CR250's and CR500's are 38mm.
