I'm going to be tearing my quad all apart, a little bit of welding. I am rebuilding the motor completely, every bearing and seal blah blah blah. And I am replacing the crank case. Cleaning the carb, and just cleaning it up real good. I've never done an entire engine rebuild before. So i'll try to take as many pics as possible, so you guys can give me shit for when I mess up. And warn me so I don't blow anything!! hehe.

I'm planning on taking My 250r back to the frame, put some nice red on the frame and repaint the swingarms/aarms gold, bleed the brakes, all that stuff. Maybe a rebuild. but, i want to have it out a while in the snow too. thats just tight.

i jus bought an 83 R motor that has just gotten a Hondaline 300 kit put on it like a month ago so im going to put that on a shifter kart until i find a 81-84 rolller for cheap,i also just bought a 200x roller for cheap frm a guy who lives right by me, so my plans are to put a cr125 motor in it an make it a flat track/ice racing/play trike, so ill be busy all winter, the kart will be done fast, but then i still cant ride it nowhere in the snow ill have to plow my street good this year with one of the tractors

Well as soon as the job im on slows down and goes back to 40 hours, I'm gonna throw a new topend on the 250r. Put a new clutch basket, plates, and springs; replace axle, swingarm, and steering stem bearings. And maybe even some new plastics. And whenver we get some good snow I'll be out on the Arctic Cat ZR440 sno pro ripping up the powder.

Man 370, I know the feeling and I only have one quad that's getting my attention. So much stuff, so little time. I posted earlier that I was going to do a complete teardown to the frame. Now I'm also doing a lot of polishing to the aluminum parts. Should look a little different when I'm done.
