| Would a chrome powdercoat be more durable than normal chrome? Also, can most places do the chrome powdercoating? |
| ||||||||||||
| Yes, normally all powder coating places would be able to do chrome, im not sure what is more relyable. Im getting my frame powder coated and then all my swingarm linkage along with my footpegs and bumper old fashoned chrome dipped.

| I havn"t seen any pictures of the motor I am getting yet. Do you guys Know if an 89 zilla motor comes painted blue or are they bare metal? |
| |||||||||||
| I think all of the LT500 motors came painted blue from the factory. I have stripped all of the paint off of my 89 motor. |

| All Suzuki Motors from 87 and up to 92 were blue. As for powdercoating you should look at getting a translucent flake or glow in the dark thrown in there. They have some really cool Translucent flakes that would look like tons of colors in differnet light. the Powdercoat chrome is nice but will never look like chrome. Chrome on certain parts is the way to go. On a motor I would not suggest it unless your just drag racing it. The chrome will store a lot of heat. parts like shifter kicker and such chrome is the way to go. Unless you want to spend hours polishing but it can be a real pain if you go out and get muddy a lot.

| yeah Banshee i know wht you mean. I painted my engine crome and the only thing that i was doing was cleaning the thing. I would recomend if you where to paint it go with a little darker color like a red or something. |

| how much does powder coating cost |
| ||||||||||||
| My frame rusted a lot because of the salt that got on the 4 wheeler from riding on the roads this winter. I'm gonna have to strip it down to bare frame and have it powdercoated. I'll stick with the Suzuki blue, though. Were the engines painted or powdercoated from the factory? And Banshee, they have glow in the dark powdercoating? |

I found a quadzilla powerplant with everything I need (carbs, reeds, electrical) for a reasonable price. Ported and pollished by the way. I know it has been done before and I have heard the conversion is not that difficult with the right equipment. My dad is a really good welder and should be able to help me w/ the welds. I am going to be doing a frame up rebuild. I'm thinking of powdercoating the frame red with possibly some chrome . All Black plastic with some flame decals and some E2S stickers. Does anyone know if they can do silver powdercoating? Or am I better off getting it chromed? I am going to be needing some parts soon, but for now all of my money is going into the motor. If anyone has any tips or suggestions let me know.
