| ive cosidered the same thing i have a 06 joyner liquid 250cc 4poke and it will not do much on the dunes with me and my wife but its sure fun trying. my suggestion to you would be buy a used frame you could make one but unless you really know whats up it will be pretty heavy i just sold a 04 cobra 250 complete buggy for 1000 dollars so they arent expensive but built pretty stout put a snomobile engine in it buy a junk quad for the rear swingarm you wouldnt have to worry about suspention, steering, peddals ect.maybe wheelspacers a few mods and you should be king of the hill

| actually the frame we have mocked up right now isnt that heavy. its gonna be a 1 seater. i really need to get a new picture of this thing. its got the a-arms off of a 86lt250r and the front suspension from it, and its going to be using the front forks off of a 500cc dirtbike for the rear suspension
