Default lt250 motor in blaster frame?

has anyone ever heard of this being done? would it be very hard of a build? I got a nice 86 lt250r motor that i rebuilt (just needs a new stator, and its for sale if anyone's intrested) thats settin in the cornor. and I thought about it the other day, how it would work out if I tried puting it in a blaster frame? I know I gotta make up a way to mount a radiator and probably re shape the exhaust. I could probably use some dirt bike radiators instead of the big stock lt250 radiator I got. and for the exhaust I have the stock lt expansion chamber as well as a stock trx250r expansion chamber that I could use to firgure something out.

I dont have a rolling chassis to put it in, but does anyone think it would be worth trying?

If your going to throw a 250 engine on a blaster frame it should be a YZ250. Ive actually ridden one and the job was pretty clean. POWER POWER POWER. But never heard of a LT swap.

Since you dont already have a blaster chassis... I would just sell the engine or find an lt chassis for it... By the time you widened and lengthened the blaster all you would have is a '86 LT with less leg room, shitty brakes, a hacked pipe, and nowhere for the radiator to mount... Not that a blaster isnt a good canidate for an engine swap, but I would rather have a blaster engine than the '86 LT engine...

ok i see what your sayin. I just thought of it one day since I had a spare motor, but I guess it really wouldnt be worth it. I've been tryin to sell it for a while on here but nobody is interested. and I got less luck sellin it local cause theres not hardly anybody that rides the ol' quadracers anymore, that I know of at least.

and im really not a fan of the suzuki's that much either so I really dont feel like fixin up one.

The only reason I would put a lt250 motor in a blaster is for wheelies, because everything else would suck compared to just using a lt250 frame.
Still it would be an awesome project quad. Good luck.
