heres some pics of your ported yz400 cylinder ,it should arrive in maryland today your upper boost port was to small and all wrong wouldnt flow a big bore single like yours is so i completely removed it and joined it to the main intake so its updated like the newer quadracer intake is . lot of work under the knife on this one they really had no idea back then lol ....porting was configured and setup knowing it will be bored over 2 mm .should have a much wider powerband and higher revs ,be sure to have them chamfer the ports and fresh crosshatch hone after the bore job is done .Thanks

yeah ill be eager to hear how it runs Paul once its all done ,the little deep pit yo u see i nthe intake is a factory void ...i was really debating on weather i should fill it with fiber epoxy and decided not to because alot of times fuel can erode certain epoxys and cause problems in your topend especially sitting right i n the intake tract and it isnt going to impede any power so i didnt chase it or fill it for safety

I miss wheelies on command and burn outs at will! The carb has gotten alot worse since I got it. Check this old vid where it was running better.
