id get those brakes fixed while your waiting ,if anything it could burn up your clutch trying to drive a locked up front end ,speaking of clutch youll probably need heavy duty springs and be sure the steels are roughed up wit hsome coarse sand paper and the grooves are all filed out of the basket fingers ,id use type F atf also

ok thanks. im gonna get some new pads this week and i'll get to work on the clutch basket and plates. the basket does have some fairly heavy grooving, but i'll take my dremel and feather em out. I guess the best fix though would be a billet aftermarket basket.

yea I know what you mean. this cr125 pipe might work decent for it I guess though. but on the pipe choice, what do you think would be the best? I know back when I was in the blaster craze, I had my eye on using the dynoport right bend exhaust.

power pros/ct/fac7/trinity.all same, made by power pros.i think they sell it the cheapest.i have seen the dynoport right bend run.seemed more of a real low end pipe.didnt pull on top at all.i ran the CT^ for while on my 3mm stock jug flotek ported,it pulled real real hard, bottom to top!!took me while to bring myself to sell it.i really liked the way that pipe perfromed, and not just for dragging either.

im almost wondering if it would hurt to run some kind of aftermarket 250r exhaust it. what I had in mind would be the esr trx6 exhaust. its supposed to be a lowend pipe anyways, maybe it would be small enough to work with this blaster motor??

i would think that if you did taht you would have to use a worse pipe like an fmf or somthing since its a smaller volume pipe, because im guessing that thta esr pipe would be about the same size as my LRD which could hold like 2 stock pipes inside of it, but also i dont know how you would get the pipe to fit onto the cylinder, you could look into a custom pipe from someone instead

wth the triple ports that is a good amountof area for the exhaust port.a large volume pipe would be good for it.as for the 250r pipes i do not know.maybe denny can shed some light on the volume subject here.

well generaly the pipe manufacturers make pipes for bore sizes and rpm range ,for us it may be a small 66mm bore but we are doing something totally custom that yamaha or pipe manufacturers never intended ,we are literally doubling the stock exhaust area and transfer area as well ,this is going to need to breathe ,the cylinder is done ,it took me roughly 16 hours to do port it ,i happen to have a late model LT250R cylinder here and this lil blaster jugs port configuration is way bigger in comparison ,and moreso than even a 900$ CTsonic cylinder too! for pipe and jetting it may be tria land error at first til l we see how it responds .id run that cr125 pipe and see what happens
