| I like the idea of a really fast Blaster. Having something fast that's not supposed to be would be the main attraction. Racing your buds 4 poke in the hillclimbing video would be cool.

| The R frame would still be a lot stronger and lighter tho |

| well, I think the blaster frame/chassis is actually lighter than the trx frame. not sure on the strength part. ive had my fair share of issues on the frame on my 250r. I think though for hard trail riding i'd rather try the idea of a better suspended blaster chassis. cause I mean I still got my 250r as my main bike, but I could also try and make the blaster a good riding woods machine too. but on the pipe issue, ive already started working on it. gonna use the stock lt250r pipe. already got it chopped up and trying to test fit it together. its gonna work pretty good, just alot of welding, fitting and grinding. should have it done by the weekend maybe. gonna be off work this thurs, fri, sat and sunday so I should have plenty of time to get it done. and cross your fingers that it happens to work good with the motor

| comepare the wieght from the 88/89 modle to the blaster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_TRX250R http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_...#Specification and the motor weighs more on the R, the a arms, axel, and swingarm are all bigger on the R, so the frame must be lighter on the R |
