I race italian minimotos and I have been looking for someone with some different ideas about 2 stroke power outside of the mainstream.

hmm well theres only so many mods, air filter, carb, reeds, porting, pipe, mill the head, increase displacement, increase the stroke, lighten the flywheel, run an iridium plug, install a different cylinder that has a powervavle, run race gas once the head is milled, and umm thats about it

theres always room for improvement regardless .....post up some pics of the engine and some specs like what reeds pipe fuel ,carb head and stuff that you currently run

There are a couple of different companys that build motors for these bikes.Polini,BiZeta,and ZPF.Ill list some links at the bottom for more info.Its like racing Karts but on 2 wheels.We run on the same track,They range in Hp from 4.2 to 15+hp.Take a look at the sites below.

whats the top speed on those little things

over 60 for the upper hp bikes.But you have to gear for the track your racing on.They have a Centrifugal Clutch they get on the pipe about 9500 and can turn as high as 16500 rpm.
