Blaster Engine Swap

I got a 98 blaster and its about ready for a new top end and clutch and the transmission is not the smoothest. intead of rebuilding it I thought it would be sick to put cr500 motor in the frame instead. have you guys ever seen anything like this and do you have any tips for an engine swap.

i wouldnt do the 500 motor.. ull need 2 gusset the frame and shit.. and it will need 2 be extended etc and vib like hell


toss a 250 motor or a 490 rm

94, 95, 96 most YZ250 motors..... verified and riding on one

u gotta use the old yz/ it motors it490s, shit like that, cr500 is to much like quadracer sed u will need to gusset the frame, u still will with the yz and it engines, just the motor has practically the same bolt pattern cause its a yamaha, talk to paulie he put a yz426 in his blaster its sick!!!
