That is one sweet looking Blaster! I saw the DT200 swap that MacDizzy had on his site, I always thought that would be a great way to do a blaster. 32HP stock, liquid cooled, YPVS.... I was also looking at the Blaster/TRX hybrid someone on here was doing (sorry don't remember who it was) and was thinking the DT200 in a TRX chassis would be sweet too.
BTW, how big is you son? I would say the stock Blaster would be "easier to ride", the one I built for my wife had a 2mm over wiseco, K&N filter, FMF fatty/turbine core II, and VF2 reeds, it would pull my 200lb arse from a dead stop in 1st without touching the throttle, I could lift the front end all the way through 3rd gear and it walked all over my "built" warrior in Glamis, still impresses me how ridable that little motor is. The 85 would be more "fun" to ride, lighter, snappier etc and certainly has lots of potential, (remember only an opinion) tough decision.
