Default Blaster and....

I want to start a Blaster project, I have heard from many people to put many different motors in it, but not sure which one is the best, any ideas as to what to do... I would like somthing that is fairly easy to line up and not to much custom work.

Well it all depends on what your going to be doing with it. If your not worried about vibrations I would put a YZ250 motor in it, its not to much custom work as far as I know. If your looking for a drag motor I would put a yz490 or wr500 or something along that line. If your looking for a good counter balanced motor that will fit with out much moddifictions, I have seen and raced with LT250R/Blaster hybrids. IMO for trail riding and other just recreational type riding, this is the way to go.

If I was to do it again, YZ465 or YZ250. As far as how hard it's going to be they will all need new motor mounts made up and a pipe...PB

Because the bottom end of the motor is giving me problem, and I dont want to keep trying to fix it, I would rather just put somthing that runs good in it, Im not just doing the swap to make it faster, The main reason for the swap is to have somthing diffrent, get some experience in doing it, and just to have a good running motor.

not really, If he just goes and buys a 240 kit and just bolts it on there, he'll maybe be a tad bit faster and maybe if he's lucky gain 6hp or something like that. Porting is where the power is at.
