yah itll do that if its a plastic tank, because they breath, thats why theresall the lil holes in all the dirtbike graphics, but if you Kreem the inside it will only breath through the vent hose and you can paint it,
my friends dad had a crazy over 400cc (i forget it was a while ago) Banshee but he had the plastics custom painted, it was great until he was just screwin around(right after he built it first run out) and the one tie rod bolt loosened and fell out(guess he forgot the cotter pin?) and it flipped and the back paint cracked a lil he was SOO pissed he was bout ta kill someone, but the paint on thefron was good up until he sold it, and that was a couple years he had it before he sold it....now he has a crazy ass powervalved 350R, the 'Shee wasnt powervalved and had a more drag-type port job done on it so it had horible low end for the trails so thats why he sold it for an R....

First of all, that Mier hood is awesom and I'm definaltey going to buy it. Second, my buddy works in a body shop he painted his plastic on his 300 ex (viper red) and race cut the front fenders, it looked awesome for a while then the paint started flaking like crazy, I wouldn't recommend painting the plastic. By teh time you do all teh work buy paint and everything you could just buy new stuff. I thought about painting mine but its just going to get messed up from riding so I'm just getting shiny new stuff that looks nice for a little while.
