I saw the old video last year of the banshee/YFZ450 playing in the snow and I wanted to do it. I had been thinking of doing something and I was ready in Nov 07 but I couldnt find a Banshee motor (just didnt look in the right places) so i found a great deal on 2 05 YZ250 motors and went that way . after finishing the 250 I saw your build and had to do it. so I bought a bunch of banshee motor parts one by one and built the motor I am putting in now. Your build was the inspiration. I needed to do the project I have been waiting to do for years .

Thanks for going for it and make it more possible for us dreamers/doers to go for it ourselves

looks sweet. I found a descent roller and decided I'm going to build one like it. Just wonderin if you could give me a little info. What kind of pipes are on there. and did you have to modify anything to make it work. Could you send me some photos of where all the motor mounts are?

I am in the process of building a custom Shee Motored YFZ450. We are just trying to finish an addition on our house so it may take a bit but will keep everyone posted on the progress. See pict for my finished chassis (FYI I'm going to post picts of my mock up parts that may look lame but the finished product will be in my baby mint frame).

Yeah, I havn't posted in ages and havn't had a running two stroke in a while. I done up this 2005 YFZ450 perfect. Anyway I found I miss the two strokers so this thing will rock. Should be running after xmass.
