How about a yz125 engine? i just found a complete 1988 yz125 bike , with some cosmetic damage, supposed to running perfect, for 500$ its a complete ridable bike, would there be enough power in it compared to a stock blaster engine?

yea the 125 engine does good in the dirtbike frame . in the blaster frame more wieght. not counterbalanced. in the long run you'd be better off going with the blaster wich can be made really fast

well a 125 blaster can surprise you!! but i thin k for the most torque and usable power your better off with the yfs 200 engine for most situations

I think im goin to go with a yz125 engine, im from newfoundland canada, and blaster parts are either hard to get or expensive when it comes to big bores and crap, and i found a complete running yz125 for 500, its an 88 , so ill prolly buy that take what i need and part it out on ebay or bring it to a motorcycle place in town that buys used parts. And ill prolly do the same with the blaster engine.
