yeah its ALOT quicker than the LT engine was in every way. ill have to get some video at the dunes dragging some different bikes so you have a better idea of how she runs. im happy with it.

i first tried 14/41 and found that to put first gear a little too tall for my liking. then went with 13/41 and this seems to be just perfect for the dunes and managable in dirt. with my dirt tires on, 5th gear comes pretty quick (might be that it just hauls ass and im use to the LT 6 speed tranny) but first is low enough to lug out in tight trails. with the 14 up front i was on the clutch way too much when getting technical.

i run kenda dominators 20x10x9's in the dirt

and hauler 20x10x10's in sand

the haulers tend to round off more than the kendas and therefor are taller than the squaired off kendas, giving a slightly taller feal in the dunes than in the dirt. in the dirt the tires spin wildly most of the time under hard excelleration.

i like the cr gearbox for the fact that it is close ratio. you are not going to brake any land speed records with 13/41 but for how i ride its just fine.

ive noticed when drag racing at the dunes i can start in first and get a damn good holeshot to where i was starting in second with the LT engine on 13/41.

Yeah you can fly threw the gears. I love the tranny ratio like you said. I am running a 13/38 with 18x9.5x8 cut tamers and it is a little tall for where I ride. I mostly ride track and trails. And I found myself clutching it alot. I would like to get a 40 or 41 for the rear. Like you said I aint out to set and land speed records. But man they get to speed in no time. I was goin to try a 12 on the front but I think the ratio would be so close it would almost be useless.

it vibrates more than the LT engine but not to the point where it becomes bothersome. most of the viberations come around 6-7000 rpms and beyond and to tell you the truth, its not really that bad.
