nice ride ,i like ! i think switching to a different engine in the lt is a great idea. parts arent cheap and easy to come by. when i would drag my wife oN her 200cc blasty we would run side by side with my pipped lt250. power wasnt very impressive. i love the lt chassis, grteat for trails and light weight..very manuverable. nice ride. hope to have mine running soon

What was the method for deciding how much length to add to the pipe? I am thinking of using my paul turner pipe when I do my KX swap... I was just going to measure from the exhaust flange to the piston on a LT cylinder and add the difference to the pipe for the KX.. not sure yet though...

thats what i did. from the piston to where the pipe starts. the LT engine has a much longer run from the piston to the start of the pipe. the cr pipe slips into the cylinder as well where the LT bolts on from the outside (this also lengthens the pipe). all in all, i needed to lengthen the LT pipe 3 1/2 inches to mach up to the CR pipe dimensions.
