| i imagine, your gonna need a new wire harness or make one yourself, the wire diagram is pretty easy to read in the manual. you can probably just stip the old wire harness off and sell it on ebay and buy some new wires and what not for the same price..... you'll probably really have to work it to get the sprockets to line up, and you'll have to work the new motor over pretty good too. in my honest opinion, just my 2 cents, you might as well just sell one of those blaster motors and some parts and buy another lt motor... i bet you'd come out pretty even, you might even be able to get some one to trade you.

| Damn that will be one lightweight machine.. I would use the complete yamaha ignition no matter what... Surely someone on here will buy the LT system from ya |

| WELL i already have my "dummy case" in the lt. the rear bolt is smaller in diameter than the blasty have to put a spacer in there and position the engine all the way towards sprocket side. they line up! kicker will also clear the frame. make mounts for bottom and front figure out pipe issues and electrical. done! i have a plasma miller 130c and welder so brackets will be easy. i wanna do it so you could bolt either motor in there. without cutting off anything. lt250 parts are hard to come by and pricey! blaster are a dime a dozen. and a ported 240 blaster will run like a scalded ape |

| more power to ya man... like i said just my two cents... sounds like you pretty much have it figured out, you just need a blaster wire harness, and you should be rolling shortly... 240 kit and some good porting and a good pipe should make a pretty good little machine.

well your cdi, coil, and regulator are probably set for differnt tollerances for sure... then look at the wire schematic... there are a bunch of differences (tors, ebrake kill switch)... look in the manuals, they have all the factory specs... your looking at like 10 for a blaster wire harnes...

| Anyone Have A Wiring Diagram They Could Post? For A Blasty? I Love My Lt But Engine Parts Are Way Too Much! And That Wrist Pin With The Thrut Washers Is Askin For Failure. All Ready Destryed One Motor. I WOULD WANT TO USE A BLASTY IGNITION, I JUST HAVE THE LT IGNITION ALL READY.WHAT EXACTLY IS THE TORS?IS IT LIKE A THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR? HOW DO YOU BYPASS IT?
