| i want to do a trx250r motor with a puma cylinder, but i want to turn the cylinder around to allow the carb out front and the exhuast out back. i have seen a banshee from dynoedge like this with the stock cylinder. i know i would have to weld up the transfer and mod the case to work, i dont think i will gain power just a much cleaner install and finish. its going in a lightened lt-r450 frame. anybody know what mods would have to be done to just the engine to install the cylinder like this. |

| bad idea ,among other things probably the worst problem is going to be the exhaust pipe ,are you going to make a excellent performaing custom exhaust system that will work with the puma jug and perform as good as the correct mounted ones theyve tested and reserarched for over 20 years ?

| hey man if you got the money to build it that seems rad.... I cant help you an anyway on the technical stuff cuz I know nothing about it but it sounds cool.

| beside the pipe what would have to be done to the case, i know the stud holes would need to be filled and redrilled to the reverse patten. what about the transfer, is there anything else im not thinking of. im not using this as a drag quad, just a real healthy duner. so if i lose a couple of horse because of the pipe. im really wanting to do this, is there a sled or jet ski jug that would offer rear exhuast that i could use with work. |

| the mounting,the cases , the porting ,of coarse the pipe and pipe belly clearance wit h suspension bottoming , the chance of debris getting i nthe carb and cpi cant even make a decent inframe for the honda muc h less designed backwards for a cylinder of that caliber really i hate to be cynical cause i m sure it would look badass you wont make one more horsepower this way and itll cost a lto fo time and money to ruin an optherwise potentialy superior setup
