| How Hard Is It To Swap In The Kx Motor? |
| ||||||||||||
| what are you running for gearing on that? remember that engine came out of a motocross bike. designed to haul ass from first gear on. i have the 2000 yz250 engine in mine, and you can drop pretty much up to 4 teeth on the back and it won't hurt it too much. i'm down 2 teeth right now and it still has torque up the ass. i think going with a different flywheel would hurt the performance of the engine. i'd try the gearing first. cheaper then buying a new flywheel

| I've already sold it. The swap wasn't too bad I had to cut the middle tube and put in another tube so the pipe would fit. It vibrated quite a bit, and the gearing wasn't the greatest. I prefer my 250r over the LT w/KX engine any day.
