Its not stock Cylinder its bored .05 over believe that works out to around 542cc's

Nitros??? are you nuts i can hardly keep this thing at full throttle now, you guys wanna kill me or something...

Best time with these crappy paddles is 4.52 I dont know what the saber runs on the 300 and what gearing he is using...

Plus i believe his is set up with auto Clutch and better CDI which all takes a little time off the 300 especially with the auto clutch.

Wrong. PNG files DO have transparency. Internet Explorer 6 just can't "read" transparent PNGs correctly. That's fixed in IE7.

As for the counter balencer, I would think you would feel it less on a quad since it's so much heavier. You learn something new everyday.

hmmm i have ie7 and its still white

Yeah the 2 vs 4 wheel thing kind of goes against all reasoning but hey who am i to argue with a "Pro" LOL.

Its like saying only 2 vibration isolators are better than 4.

our family has 3 CR500's they don't vibrate much I don't even notice it. but nitrous on that would be a great project.

This is a home made system I don't know where you can buy a full kit for one.
fisrt off we bought a kit from NOS, bought a battery, figured out where we wanted to mount everything and started building.

98 CR 500....

Model CR500R
Engine Type 491cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder
two-stroke
Bore and Stroke 89mm x 79mm
Compression Ratio 6.8:1

0.05" overbore = 1.27mm Radius increase in Cylinder head or 2.54mm increase in diameter

New bore size is 91.54
Stroke = 79mm still because i am not changing the deck height.

Using Engine Displacement Calculation this makes mine at 520.14 cc's

Still a very far cry from Stock 491cc's

On top of that let me give you real specs for the Sabertooth which they DO NOT list
the actual CC's of the engine but only rather say 500cc.

Their piston is 95mm (yes bigger than mine)
But their Stroke on their BEST crank is only 72MM!!

which equates to ONLY! 510.56 cc's because of the shorter stroke.

So my engine has more displacement, to be accurate it has 9.58cc's more

I dont know about you a 10cc difference in a 2 stroke is a hell of a lot not to mention
a 29cc increase overall on my end over stock.

Im sure a banshee owner that went from stock 350 to the 370 kit saw a huge difference in power and also a huge jump in HP.

We can argue about the numbers all day long but displacement is displacement and time = time and considering my best 300 time i'll say i am pretty damn close to the sabertooth and im using manual clutch.

I would give him a run

In addition here is the dyno results for a Stock CR500 Super Motard and Regular, i dont have the Regular and yes its at the rear wheel and running on Gas, not Alky.
