It was just a joke man...if a trike floats your boat then that's cool, to each his own. At least trikes don't vibrate lol.

Here is my cr500 conversion.

The engine is almost a drop in. Make new engine mounts and your good to go.

The motor is probably going to get pulled out. I cant keep the pipe together. I keep braking pipe mounts, and the pipe broke in half one time.

Its insanely fast BUT i dont know what elce to do, Vibration through bars isnt bad at all its just keeping the pipe together is becoming a pain in the ass.

I think I have the fix for YOUR issue....you need to put a joint in your pipe before that straight section on the side(somewhere towards the front bar on the nerf bars). Also make sure your other mounts for the pipe are rubber mounted somehow. That's how my pipe is built, which was custom built by Paul Turner for this bike. The way mine is has a tapered male that slips into a female with 4 springs that hold the joint together. Yeah it leaks a smidge but I'm sure you can seal it with some exhaust sealant and improvisation. I haven't had any problems with my pipe at all. Let me know how it works.

first fill the frame with exspanding foam . the stem and the bars. any void. sub,arms, swing arm. look into a super guide by harley . they have great motor mounts rubber. will need a torsion bar on the bottoim of the motor like the shee. t bar stops the twist. the rear mounts put silicone between mounts .or old bike tube....... just my 2.5 cents worth, it works so take or leave

i had the same problem with my pipe. i broke the mounts of once and rewelded it. that broke a bigger hole so i pached it. i decided to put a 3/16' be 1' pice of steel the entire way around the perimeter of the pipe were the mount is. then rewelded a new, stronger and beefier mount on. the mounts are on ruber gromets that are honda pcv vaulves or somthing like that. il get some pics for you.

Well, I've tried the expanding foam trick prior. In theory it sounds good but expanding foam doesn't work without air. No exposure to air, like concealed in a frame, and it doesn expand, just turns to muck. The other ideas sound good tho. As far as the pipe, check out mine in the pics. That's the joint I was talking about. BTW guys, remember when I said I'd put pics up like months ago? lol. Sorry for the delay but here they are. She's pretty much done!....and going up for sale. I just bought my first house so have to liquidate. I may be parting out too for those who wanna drag race or something. Anyone interested get in touch.
