| I am sure it won't be too big of a deal. But I am sure that you can get all your questions answered when you start it. One thing that you need to do for sure is take plenty of pics during the project. Good luck!!

| i can give you some general tips and tricks but i've never done that actual swap before. oh yeah when i come up to pick up my tri-z i'll take a look at your blaster and the tri-z engine (i'm pretty good with mounting up tri-z/YZ engines (try putting one in a small ass 85 tecate 3) anyway then i can kinda point out a few things you might want to watch out for. i know that those engines have the carb sitting at a pretty good angle and i ran into a bit of a close call with the mounting in my tec3 but in a blaster it';s something you can work around. i have heard of this swap being done before and if you look on www.macdizzy.com they have a YZ-blaster conversion well its an article boutthe swap and what the quad was like afterward (hint: it was crazy fast but it vibrates a bit) oh yeah this is kinda off topic but on the trike please leave the radiators on it. if you need a set i'll bring you some YZ rads. i'm not sure if they are the sme that why i'm saying i need the tri rads. and then you can mount up these YZ rads in your blaster project i think the YZ rads are a bit smaller which will work out better for you anyway.

| I was planning on using the rads off the tri-z, because i did not know of the cooling capacity of any others. but if you say that you have cooling system that works, let me know. also i know that the tri-z has a two part rad system i was wondering if a 1 part rad system would do the same?

| yeah the radiator doesn't matter i have some YZ rads, or an extra LT250r Rad. hell you can even use a heater core form a car as a rad. thats it's basic design.

| Does it matter that the rear sprocket and chain is of the yamaha blaster and the front sprocket is of the tri-z or should i buy a different sprocket and chain?
