| Well as some of you may already know I traded off my AIM Autococker paintball gun w/ Halo B hopper for a rough condition 98 KX250. Rough would most likely be the optimistic way of rating it. It's missing ALOT of parts. But the good news is, through what could quite possibly be the longest sitting sessions I've ever done, I've found nearly all the parts that I'll need to get this beast back on 2 wheels. I Just Bought: 2005 KX250 Rear Shock: $141 1998 KX250 Complete Front Brake Assembly: $125 1998 KX250 Complete Rear Brake Assembly: $125 1998 KX250 Number Plates: $30 1998 KX250 Throttle Tube Assembly w/ Cable & Clutch Perch w/ Cable: $25 I think I did really good on those prices. ![]() Near Future: Swingarm Bearing Kit Linkage Bearing Kit Rear Wheel Bearing Kit RK Sprocket and Chain Kit EGR Valve parts Counter Shaft Seal UNI Filter Jet Kit Rear Fender Tag Fat Bars w/ Mounting Kit and Grips Random Bolts Here and There Now I have a really important question for you guys..... How is this bolts kit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB....cWAT.m240.lVI From what I've seen on here the random Blaster and Banshee bolt kits on eBay aren't exactly quality and tend to snap easily. Though this kit seems to different from the others I've seen. May just be the way the guy has them separated or something. If it's quality then it would save me ALOT of time and possibly a few hand fulls of hair if I can get nearly all the bolts I need in one purchase. I was going to get an 08 YZ250, but with the way money is looking right now restoring my KX250 is going to be alot more realistic. Plus I won't have a monthly note for several years. Looks like this bike may have a chance after all.... Input would be great BTW!

| looks like your on to a great starttry to get some pictures of your progress... As for the bolt kit, looks good as long as all the pieces are stainless steel. Some bolt that carry high stress you may want to use stock OEM.

| I wont be able to make much progress with restoration for a lil while. I've got to get the Clymers manual and a good bike stand. Then comes the bearings and bolts for the rear end so I can get the rear shock on it. I'll also need to do the bearings for the rear wheel and put the new sprocket on while I have it all apart. I can snap some pics of the parts I've got in though...wont be much but it's something...
