2002 Yz125---new To Everything, Including This Site!

Hello!

Just joined. I have a few questons about the YZ125. There is a guy down the street with a 2002 YZ125 and he wants 1G for it, should I get it?

Like I said in the title, I am new to 2 wheels. Well.. I rode my buddy's TTR125, which I needed more power, but in 5th gear I was having fun with no hands and stuff like that.. I am pretty good with anything with wheels. I am only 13, but I have been riding for 10 years. I grew up on 4 stoke quads, right now I have a 2003 Honda 400EX. But I want something with a 2 stoke engines and has 2 wheels.

What do you guys think?

Thanks, so you think I should get it? There is a WV trip in a month, and I get it by then, I am going to brake it in with endless hills, where I am going to kill myself. Haha. I am so excited! I wanna 2 STROKE!

If it's in good condition 1 grand for a clean 02 sounds great, will smoke a ttr in two ways. Riding a 2 stroke helps you stay young you shouldn't have a problem with that though. Post some pictures of it if you do end up buying it. Mixing gas is easy it won't break down every week don't let 2 stroke rumors detour you from buying one till you've tried it.

Hey. Forgot to menshon, they guy I am going to buy it off of, (a guy gave it to him, he painted his house then couldn't pay, so he gave them the yz, and now he is selling it because he needs the money) he said (the he took it from) said, it has a 170 kit in there. How would I be able to tell? Is that good for bad?

ive never heard of a 170 kit but if there is thats excellent but u would have to post some pics of the cylinder for me to tell
