| It won't give you anymore torque. It will help to keep you motor from stalling at a low rpm.

| Oh! I was always told that they increase torque and take a tad from the top. My bike stall a sec, if you take off from idle. Should I increase the idle or add a weight? |

| If it's cutting off when your just sitting then try turning up the idle a tad. If your having problems with it stalling at low rpms while your riding then a weight would help. This is assuming you don't have other problems and your an experienced rider. CR500 people add weights to their flywheels to make their bikes more woods friendly.

| its a myth ....actaully the increased flywheel weight removes torque

| I have no problem at all riding it. It idles fine and it doesn't really stall in a way. It rolls out and then it's like HOLD THE F*** ON! Maybe the porting has something to do with it. It has been rejetted by a pro. My Buddy on his modded Husky CR250 got two links out of the hole, but then I flew right by him! It only does it from a dead stop when you smack it. |

| That's what I thought myself. I understand the principle of adding weight to a moving wheel can create a harder foreward motion, but it can also slow the motion, too. |

| lightening frees up the torque you were using to turn the heavier flywheel. It still doesn't add torque just lets you use a lil more of what you already have.
