That's 492.125984 feet. Both till top out by then i think. So whoever is geared better. Stock the yz125 is faster. Track conditions matter too like asphalt, dirt etc. But as he said, the rider will decide the outcome.

I have the hardest time taking off in a drag race with my 125 on asphalt =-\

So, what brings up this question? Does a friend of yours have a cr125 and you want to know if you can beat it?

i would put my money on the 125.. unless there is something done to that 85 that we don't know about.. 85's rap out in 100 ft the 125 would last about 150ft..

it would be like saying a 125 could beat a 250 in a drag...

yup the bigger bike will win. At about 500 feet, skill doesnt matter too much since the start wont matter.

But dont get me wrong, those 85cc 2 strokes haul ass!

85's havee no bottom end or a really good top..they have that punchy middle and thats about it..the 125s are snappy through the middle and a little bit on the top. thats why i went with the 250 cause they have power all aroundd..

i'd say the 125 would win just because..its bigger..but you never know..
