Powershifter or Quickshifter worth for drag-racing ?

powershift or quickshifter like an electronic transmission technology, it work to interrupt ignition system. There’s no need to use the clutch or back the throttle off on upshifts/downshift and you can even select gears by the touch of a button.
One of this product like Translogic powershift or quickshift, etc
DOes anyone has experience with this shift ? they claim it can gain 3 yards per gear shift and a saving of around 200ms can be made per gear shift for those long straightaways.

havnt really heard of that but i have no problem shifting under power or needing to back off the throttle

maybe this is something similiar to the newer utility quads that have the push button shifting?other than that i have no idea about this new technology.on a 2 stroke?

sounds like the airshifter concept, when you shift, it cuts off the ignition for a split second to allow you to shift while you are full throttle! If you are doing the drag racing thing only, I recommend an override transmission mod..... F---- the electronics. You'll be happy with the mod. but only for drag racing applications only !
