07' quadfest drags

heres member only2strokes and I at the winners booth we didnt get first in the 2stroke class ,but it was damn close ..Matt got 2nd and i got third ,i also got an additional third i n the open king of the strip class ....tons of very fast bikes ,ill get some vids and full story up soon .i never raced in an organized event (or my bike period)so it was a wild learning experiance for me this time around . over 5 thousand quads ,and about 200 drag racers.... i beat every 2 stroke i n the unlimited open class but the heavy modded R1 (the R6 quad was also insane)based quad was hooking up good and really laying down some quick times.

i stored the vids on my kodak easyshare and unfortuantly didnt have enough room for the pics too ,i got better though ...i got vids ...anybody who thinks blasters are slow kids bikes needs to see only2strokes souped up blaster burn down the strip ...as soon as i figure out how to upload the vid .

bikes were Flotek 358cub and Flotek 240 blaster,their were other E2S riders their also ..mighty3wheeler was kickin some ass and taken names as well. once he got his stroked quadracer dialed in ,right there o n the heels of the R6 banshee,I thought he got it ,what a rush to line up against some of the heavy hitters.Matt got a killer run and pulled on a 421cheetah cub the full track and literaly lost by only half a tire ,another 10 feet he would have got first place.thousands were cheering and clapping him on cause they couldnt belive he was on a blaster ....unknown to me ,my gear shifter lever was loose (i know excuses ...excuses)and i missed 2nd gear ,plus i will admit i was a bit intimadated ,it only takes a small slip up or missed shift to lose and your eliminated out of the class.wish they would have watered down the track though

I wish I had known that would have been a sight to see. That would have been a possible trip from Newport news Va and a good break

What kind of times did u pull Denny????

it was heads up with a light .they did not have timers set up...we did half- ass-edly check the time wit h a stop watch on the cell phone but thats not really accurate when your vantage point is far away and they go buzzing by so quick ,the track was pretty shitty as it was so dusty and dry ...you couldnt get traction to save your life ..even us faster bikes were only around 4.8-5.0 in 300 feet but it looked longer distanced than that to me ,youll see what i mean when i get the vids up. this is one of the reasons the blaster did so wel l seemed it rolled down the track and didnt over power it like the big bikes with 80 and over hp
