Default stupid drag question

I just found out there are a couple of places locally to drag quads. I am thinking really hard about building something. Are there any magazines or even websites that are devoted totally to quad drags? I know I can get parts from a million places just wondered if there was that one special drag race place.

first...figure out what kind of racing you're gonna do. Pavement, dirt, sand, hillshoot, etc.

Find out the rules/regulations of the type of stuff you can and can not run, get a budget, go from there.

There really is no one stop shop. There are plenty of good builders out there.
This can turn into:

"Insert your favorite builders name here" thread real, real quick...

My advice is call at least 6 different builders. See who answers the phone, or who calls you back. Who listens, who just sounds like he's blowing smoke up your ass...and make your choice. Remember, cheapest is rarely best for this kinda stuff... It takes a lot of time and money to go fast, and those that have that experience expect to get paid for it....I assure you it cost them a pretty penny to get there in the first place....
