well I dont really have any drag bikes, but i'll still race what I got. we'll probably hit it a couple times next year with my brothers or something. first time I went by myself to check it out and raced the R a little bit. the place is called shelton's dirt drags, they usually race every sat. night weather pending. they have a really nice track setup, one of the best ive ever seen. theres a pic of it.

ive actually thought about seriously building me a budget drag banshee to race there, nothing extreme though, just something like a long rod stroker motor with drag ported oem jugs, then setup the chassis and all that to make it a quick running banshee with out the big fancy cub cylinders. maybe even make it wool like a sleeper bike.. but theres no way I could do it enless I got rid of either my blaster that im working on or my R.

yea they have 300ft and 200 ft races.

I think that was a roasted k&n pod filter lol. they had some pretty badass 4 strokes there, most of em ran on the nos bottle. I know there was several big kfx700's there with the prowedge/4snow tires. I guess they make some pretty decent power and torque if built right, only disadvantage I see is that they are too heavy.

Looks like they do a fine job of prepping the track and I like those wide lanes.

hey joe,i know there are some dirt drags in the NY area.dont now how far that is for ya.do a search for atv drags llc or dirt drags llc NY? you should find it.

yea they do a awesome job on the upkeep of the track. they would usually take this big tractor and disc (the one in the background there) and go over the track when ruts started to form on the start line. they like to keep their dirt fairly wet, and it makes it where its fairly clumpy and loose, but man let me tell ya, the shit hooks up good. I had some 18in. holeshot mxr6's on my R when I raced that night and I was getting gobs of traction.
