what I think would be fun would be to find a dirt cheap junked banshee somewhere and strip it down to the frame and turn it into a dirt dragger and get the chassis all setup right and use a nice built 350 in it to get al the bugs worked out and then later on you could move on up and probably put a cub motor in it and get on up to the 80-90 hp range or something.

I built my bike from a bare frame, piece by piece. Started with a chopped, welded and lightened J Arm chassis, powder coated it and some other parts....and just went from there. It's time consuming, but in the end worth it. You know where every part, nut and bolt came from....and put it on yourself!!!

well right now its just a idea for the future, theres no way I could do it now. probably later on I might try selling my blaster for a good amount and if it did sell, then I might could use that money to fund the drag banshee project. lol but I really dont need any more projects to waste my money on but I think I could build a banshee fiarly cheap and still make it pretty quick. since most of the money goes into the motor and exhaust and intake, the rest is mostly just stock or custom parts and theres no need for suspension either.

well I found some evidence of a pretty quick time for a 350, 4.146 in 300ft. its the class record for 250 - 350 Mod ATV 2-Stroke (No Nos - OEM Cylinders & Stock Cases Required) at sheltons dirt drags in stanford, ky.

http://www.planetsand.com/forums/ubb...586#Post810586

so I guess it is possible to make a 350 pretty quick. with out nos or other big money mods.

been looking around some more and found some videos on rdz racing's website http://www.rdzracing.com/Main/Videos.htm

looks like they build some strong running bikes. 3.90 seconds on a 350!

yep all you need is 15 or so grand hidden in the inside of the engine ,a 99 pound jockey ..hundreds hours of track and dyno time ...stacks of tires, unlimited supply of methanol with additives and willingness to rebuild your bike after every third run

.............lol fuk that. I dont want to spend that much money/time for just building a reccord breaking 350.

but anyways, heres my idea for a budget/sleeper 350........gonna run a stock crank, drag ported oem jugs, cut/milled head for about 180psi with 110octane race fuel, advance timing a little, lightend flywheel, out of frame drag pipes, vforce 3's, 35mm airstrykers with k&n clamp-ons. all that in a stock/lightened chassis with solid struts and a wheelie bar. I'd say that would be pretty good for a mildly built bike just for starters. I have my own place to test and tune with and get the gearing/jetting dialed in. and maybe when I brought it out from the woodworks it might surprise a few people lol
