Default how fast with a built 350 shee?

how fast can you build a banshee for 300 or 200ft dirt drags while staying with the 350 size motor, using the stock crank and cylinders and stock lightened/drag setup frame? like just going with a aggressive high revving drag port, milled stock head for higher compression and race fuel (no alky), advanced ignition and lightened flywheel, correct sized carbs, vforces and k&n's, and good out of frame drag pipes. and lower and stretch out the wheelbase and probably run a wheelie bar. I guess this would be shooting for a budget/sleeper bike that is still competetive with big bore strokers and such.

mid 4's for 300ft and mid 6's in 500ft, all times vary on track conditions though.

some are, but I know of a few 350's on VP race gas that would run those times. A friend of mine has a 350 for sale that ran a 4.3 on race gas first time out of the shop, no tuning at all.

Andy from GRR built some really fast "350" motors! A buddy of mine had a couple of his experimental motors. They ran 11 sec. 1/4 runs easily.

usually it takes alky to run mid 4's on a 350 in 300 feet
the track has *alot * to do with the killer times you hear about
for 200 feet id say 3.2 seconds would be pretty fast for a 350

id say you could have a very quick bike if you could get the rear end set up just right where it hooks up good and get a wheelie bar setup good to where you can launch the thing super hard and get a good jump off the line without it making the front end bounce hard.

do you think a lockout clutch would be needed for a heavily ported 350? or could you get away with a good billet clutch basket and barnet clutch kit and hd springs?
