| I cant extend my swingarm anymore. A rule at BBDR is that your rear fender must cover your axle. Mine is 4.5 inches extended by urs truely. its struted so the a-arms are flat and i have smaller tires on the front. I tried one Vitos degrees 4 key my last rebuild and thedamn thing sheared when i was seating the rings. i was told by McConahey(another racer) that a vitos stator plate takes the Flywheel key gone. a guy who knows his stuff about blasters (Davey Steele) told me that too and how easy it is to throw a key with the mods i have. i plan on getting it ported to make up for the spacer. as for the pipe i want an Out Of Frame pipe for it. i looked at shearers pipe thats in frame but i like the out of frame look and sound better. thanks about the fish that was bugging the hell outta me |

| i don't think you have this flywheel key deal straight?????how would the stator plate effect the flywheel key in any way?????just think about that....as for the swingarm..my buddy kurt made his a plus 5....he ran at bbdrdirtdrags.com many times....nobody really says anything unless someone in your class protests you....nobody in your classes will,unless something is extremely radical....i'd stick with a plus 3-4 though or you'll lose alot of traction...im not gonna tell you what to do with your engine...but it's good to see some new competition coming up.......

| instead of paying vitosor pro design for an adjustable stator plate you can just modify your stocker for free! but ,you will always need a flywheel key to maintain the ignition timing , the crude 24$ lead drippings vitos sells have raped many a blaster owner ,they will shear and shear over and over ,ive seen it happen. get the plate and lighten the flywheel ,also if you want to be more competative you should get porting as well IMO. shearer makes out of frame blaster pipes also !

| The after market stator plates will not eliminate the flywheel key.A PVL ignition however does not use a keyway on most applications.The taper is what holds the flywheel on not the key.The key is used from the factory because of mass production.The PVL set-up is timed using a dial indicator through the plug hole.

| Yeah i had a PVL system but something was messed up in it and Keystone said it was junk so i throw on my old flywheel and i hate those damn keys. Is Vitos the only Company that makes a PVL system or whats with that? As for the Spacer im getting it ported accordingly and head work if needed. Everything2stroke should know a Ron Talbert. Hes the one thats helping me out with this and hes got some good connections. |
