| hi i just wanted to know if anyone has the ct whale pipe on there 250r i'm looking to buy 1 and would like to know how they work i have a fatty and sst pipe but dont really like them i thought i could sell the sst and keep the fatty for mx and hare scrambles i also do dirt drag racing and hill climbing so i want every bit of straight line power for that any help would be apreciated

As much as I love my LRD, they DO NOT make the high hp numbers that people think they do. A CT whale pipe is not the way to go. If you want an all out hill shooter pipe then the TRX 11 ESR is the way to go, but to tell you the truth. Unless you have a substantial amount of porting the TRX 5 is going to outperform the 11 across the board. The Curtis Sparks TT pipe is also a bad ass mid top pipe. The FTZ makes damn good hp, but drops torque more than I like. |

| thanks i called ct today and have decided to never get any work from them the guy i talked to was i dick and he basicaly told me off i asked him what i asked you and he asked what motor i was running and i told him what i had and that it was a 275 and he told me stop wasting your time that i need a 350 big bore motor and when i asked how much the pipe was he said its 3 somthing but dont look at the price its just money and also and he had a arrogant tone to his voice the hole time just a complete asshole i remember when i was building a r motor back a few years i called them and they where very nice and helpful i guess the new four strokes are all they care for anymore...and thanks nick for the recomendation to esr i know they make great motors and my brother has the esr310 kit but he chose the lrd pipe and i dont know y but i never noticed the trx5 pipe i think because it says atc next to it i just thought that it was only for atcs but i was glad you said that because im sure that will be the pipe i buy do you know if they would produce a good gain in power i always thought the fattys sucked but i seen i think u wrote that they make more power then the lrd and i seen a dyno chart on another site saying they made 3 more peek hp then the lrd

| The TRX makes about the same torque as a LRD but it comes on harder and revs farther. If it wasnt for how much I like the looks of my LRD I would buy a 5 centermount it makes incredible power. Or a Sparks TT, honestly I would like to have a Sparks TT with a Shearer silencer mounted inside the frame. |

| i have had a great past experinaces buying stuff from ESR . theyre pipes are made by Matt Shearer so you know your getting the best made/designed pipe for its given application ,Ct must not realize(or care ) the impact a phone call like that has on their customers ,thats pretty ridiculous and i m surprised theyre stil l in business wit h that attitude and unprofessionlaism .

| Had many of the same experiences from CT, TOTAL JACKASSES. Always tried to sell me something I didnt want. By far best experience from ESR. Have ran ESR 5 pipes on a 330 with GREAT success. I have a Sparks Big bore Hi rev still in the box and will let yall know how it does on my short rod 330. However I live 20 minutes from sparks and get Zero service there too. They dont like to serve "three wheeler guys" No joke.
