Unscrew the top where the cable goes in and then the 'piston' will come out. Be careful with this cuz your needle will be exposed and could be damaged. The 'Piston' is your throttle plate so to speak. This pretty general. What bike and or carb do you have? |

| I'm thinking he's got the slide out and wants to disconect the slide? Most carbs have a retainer clip there.. Pull the spring up, should be able to lift the retainer clip & out comes the cable. What carb is it?
