| not really, it had the bog before the build....but it didnt spew oil before, the compression was low and the pistons were chewed up so he did the rebuild, this is the thing though when tearing everything down to do the build..... this guy who is the backyard i know everything so dont fuckin tell me cuz ill throw a fit kinda guy, tried to use a crows foot with an impact to get the damn flywheel off, he bent the flywheel...so i went and bought the yamaha flywheel puller for 12 bucks and it pops right off.....huh he stands there in disbelieve as to what just happened, bu i dont know what he could have done wrong the carbs have always been a little fucked up

| the black oil could be from a bad o-ring in the flange of the pipe. or it might just have a kink in it.of course the only way to tell is to pull the pipe back off and look.

| id also recheck the carbs to make sure they are in sync, and you know about the whole jetting thing. blow compressed air through all the vents of the carbs also to make sure that nothing is blocked there.

| pipe orings are brand new but when im say oil i mean alot, i dumped a fair amount out from the left side pipe

| Not sayin this is the problem but when I had a weird low-end bog and oil seepage problem it was related to my pilot jet being to rich. Are these stock carbs? Has this guy jetted them himself?

| stock mikuni carbs, t.o.r.s. removed, 280 mains, stock pilot, i dont know where his needle sets but hes got the fmf gold series pipes.... this sounds about right to me

| sounds like a jetting problem or jus the fuel mix is too rich my rm used to have some black spooge come out it was jus the jetting

| well hes not even jetted as high as i am, i run a 300 main, stock pilot, have needle on 2nd clip down
