I need carb help

I bought a 35mm air striker carb and it does not have the adjusting nut on the top cap. I bought the cable for it but it doesnt have an adjusting nut on it either. Can I use the adjusting nut off of the stock pj carb or do I have to find the one for the air striker. Also the cable end that goes to the car is not threaded. Does that end just fit into the adjusting nut. The end of the cable is almost a 90 degree curve.

if the adjusting nut will thread into the new carb then try it, and the throttle cable doesnt thread into the carb cap it just slides in and the tention from the slide spring keeps it were it belongs. just be sure tho slide the rubber boot on the cable back over the adjuster.

go to sudco .com go in the car bpwk section ..and they have microfiche exploded views and part numbers that can ber ordered and youll be able ot cross reference whic hparts interchnage or purchase those needed parts ot be sure they fit up there is a 20 dollar minimum order the last i knew however ..BTW your cylinder will be on its way to your house once i mail it out come tomorrow morning

just find one that fits right and make sure theres no slack in the cable
