1994 CR500 tranny, is it 6 spd or 5spd?

I can't seem to find which it is!

also, what is the cheapest repair manual i can get for it?

They were 5-speeds. Look on E-bay for a manual.

Yeah, I thought all Honda dirt bikes were 5 speeds

nope the 1981 cr 450r and the cr 480 were 4 speeds but all the cr 500's were 5 speeds if thats wat u meant

5 speeds some smaller quads were 6 speeds and newer med bore 4 poke MX'ers went 4 speed
