| we tried that a long time ago, running bills pipes with the stock silencer. it quietened it down alot compared to the bill's silencers and gave it this pretty unique sound. but it didnt help the power any. if anything it kinda felt like it took alot of the topend power away and gave it a smoother like powerband. I guess cause the stock silencers have this weird baffel system in there at the beginning of the muffler section.

| My buddy runs stock silencers with aftermarket pipes on his banshee. Even with the stock silencers, the gains are huge compared to stock pipes. He notices a gain when he switches back to the toomey silencers, but to him being quiet is worth the slight loss in power as we are usually sneaking through private property on our way to the good riding spots. |
