Now I just got info from Cascade Innovations that they no longer stock the T-6's because they have dynoed them and they do not allow the engine to go over 8000 RPM which according to them is where a stock banshee sits. So they suggested either T-5's if I wanted Toomey's (especially since I plan to do some porting and polishing in the future) right now I am stock. Or the other option they gave me was Paul Turners sounds like they are real low to mid range for creaping up steep hills. I ride dunes but like to be versital in my terrain. I don't want a set up just for racing or just for hills. I want to be able to ride trails, climb hills etc.

Thought you'd find this helpful. I am in the same situation trying to decide. Anyway this came directly from Toomey when I e-mailed them regarding the T-5 or T-6's. Sounds like if your planning on keeping your engine stock (no porting or polishing) then the T-6's are your best bet. If you ever plan on doing ANY engine work get the T-5's. I am trying to decide if I will want to do engine work in the future suppose it is always best to leave your options open. Thus the T-5's are the answer.

Subject : Re: T-5 or T-6

The TR6 pipe design, is for the stock engine specifically.
Anytime you modify the engine where you will be altering the exhaust gas
temperature, (Exhaust Port change, or compression ratio change) you will be
deviating from the TR6 design capability.

The reason it is the best, and works so well on a stock engine, is that it
is a VERY specific design meant to maximize the potential of the stock
engine, which most people actually have. It is not designed to accommodate
any other port design range at all.

Our T5 design DOES have this wider design capability, thus it works well on
stock OR modified engines, right up into the higher RPM ranges as well.
But, not AS well on the lower RPM ranges, at which a stock engine/RPM range
operates, as the TR6.

So, for low-end and mid range power, in the stock engine/RPM range, the TR6
is your best choice, and for modified engines, or sustained high RPM
operation, the T5 is the best choice.
