i feel bad enugh the only thing i had laying around to put on my 03 was FMF piles of SHIT.... i sold my T5's and bought soem dynoports... then bougth another quad put the DYNOs on that and that left my 03 pipeless... so i tossed on the **** FMF's

yeah you will find that people are very biased on this topic. i would buy t5's for the finish if all else were the same. they do a good job on the chrome. i bought my fmfs off ebay with pc2's for under $200 and havent been beat by a toomey piped shee yet so........ they work great for me. im tired of polishing them though. they are gonna either have a new coat of chrome or get the flat black treatment.

i seen a guy at florence get a db ticket and was told he couldent even start the thing to ride it back to his truck after his t5 piped shee in the staging area dident pass. around here they hold a microphone 20 inches away from the tailpipe at a 45 degree angle at half the maximum engine speed. they look for toomeys, cpi's, and any bike with thoughs tiny silencers. one thing that pisses me off is they never ticket the 4 stokes cuz their motors are not as loud when not under a load. but the moment they rip up a dune you can hear it for miles.

r u talkin about the same one im talkin about? the one that brings em 2 into 1 and kinda looks like a boost bottle with the exhaust exiting through the bottom. i dont find them too atractive. but some people like em i guess.

that toomey hush kit comes out of the silncers into a big can under the grab bar..... they do look very cool

but..... sometime in the near future i'm gonna start workign on a hush kit that you'll like.... probaly have it done within a year...

I run SST pipes and love them. They have a great all around power curve. T5 pipes are good but are way too loud. The hush kit is a little gay I think. Why make it look like a single cylinder? Just my opinion. I am also tired of polishing the SST's but I am still happy overall.

go with the toomeys you will def be happy....bu then again it is all a matter of personal taste
