I think it is a 2000. Have the rolling chassis. Motor is out. The frame has a fresh powdercoat (black) on it. Also the a-arms, swingarm, axle have a fresh powdercoat (chrome) on them. The motor is ready to be assembled. I have a used crank in good shape with new crank bearings ready to be put on. New in the box pistons, gasket kit, clutch kit. Also has t-5 pipes in decent shape to go with it. Fresh bore on the cylinders (need to be chambfered - ports). Bikes in nice shape, just lost interest. I'd post pics, but the bike is up at the farm. Can get pics on request. Open to cash offers or a trade for a 4 X 4.

Tri-Z ($1000) OBO
Tri-Z is an 86. 6 speed tranny. I powdercoated this frame also, but had an exhaust leak in the front so it's a little hard to tell now. Bike really rips. Motor is strong. Put in a new clutch kit, bearings, chain.

I have replaced the water pump seal and shaft(still leaks a little out of the weep hole) and now I am actually able to run it but the jetting seams way off.

The PO brought it from arizona

I live in Colorado around 5000'

The Quad has a 36mm pj carb with a
145 main jet
58 pilot jet

It will not idle reliably and the choke it screwed 3/4 of the way out for it to barely idle at all.(I have got it to idle for a couple minutes at a time)

I am running klotz with 93 octane @40:1

The motor is supposed to have mild porting on a newer jug(stock bore)

Unknown pipe with a Fatboy muffler

Engine seams to be very rich but runs at lower speeds best with the air screw 2.5 turns out

There is alot of oil dripping from muffler after running for a few minutes

Any suggested starting points for jetting?

I need to stock up on tuning parts before I can do any true testing due to not having a testing area close by.

Any help is appreciated

It is possible, but 'we' just need to get enough people interested in the pipes in order to get them to make said pipes.

But if i take the plug out put some fuel in the cylinder put plug back on and kick it twice it will fire up and i can get it to run and ride it.

Then it will start first kick everytime all day. If it sits over night i got to start all over again with fuel in the cylinder and get it to run fine. Anyone have any ideas
