Default First Flattrack

Next Saturday, I'm gonna try my first flattrack race. Since I've never done it before, I have no idea what I'm getting into. You guys have any advice or is there anything I need to know before I head out to the track? Any advice or tips are appreciated.

yeah.. if your not low.... do the redneck thing and lower it with tie downs...

if you can get your hands on some falttrack tires tha would be best... if not... oh well.....

oh one more thing.... dont; try and upshift down the striaght then downshift for the corners... you waste to much time on teh clutch.... kep it in a gear where you can pull outta the corner.. and hold the fucker pegged down the striaghts.... when you come into a corner.. tap the front brake to set yourself into the corner while you roll otu of the throttle... in your mind say 1..... 2.... then peg it and pitch it hard... lean liek a mother and dont let out til the next corner.... that all the secrest i'm giving out,.... i hope it helps ya

I think Chris pretty much put it down to a science it sounded good. Main thing is just go out there and have some fun. But lowering is most likely going to be the key. And also practice and lots of it. If they let you run practice laps go for it. Do as many as you can.
