I feel more comfortable wheeling on a bike than a quad, you can bail off a bike easier if you go to far. either machine i have trouble using the brake so i dont bother with it, maybe thats why i cant ride them very far.

I can however ride a wheelie on a bicycle pretty far no probs. , sitting or standing.
Does that count as a 2 stroke ??? left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot ?

has anyone ever tried riding a unicycle? im thinking about getting one for me and the kids to learn some balance

Atomic sounds right on in advice in this matter

your back brake will be your best freind...and practice...everyones rite u gotta find that sweet spot and then balance it out with the brake..i first l..learned the sit down wheelie, and then the stand up on the grab bar, which seemed alot diff, didnt like it at first, then it became my fav...you can do so much more when you learn that.. i watched nelson do them and then i would try, but not untill i saw him do it first i was scared good luck

used to be able to wheelie my crf50 forever. I got a rear hand brake kit from 50stunt.com and busting around the block wheelies was no big deal. Lean back pull up a little and feather the gas and brake. Wheelies on the YZ 80 are super fun.

well for those of u that will think that im really stupid i never use a back brake cause i never had one i learned to pull wheelies with jus throttle and weight now for ppl that are learning to wheelie and have a grab bar u can stand on that but use ur left foot to stand and ur right to brake then when u got ur balance point or "sweet spot" mastered then u can swap feet and shift while wheeling my fav are tha high chair and tha one footer but i dont have a quad i do all that on my bikes like u can see in my sig

bump.. more info on ur tips/tricks on starting out please...sadly i don't have a grab bar to help me out so I see a new silencer in my near future (it's already been bashed on the ground by 2 different people) so it will be my turn to tear it up next

anyone with some tips on a superman wheelie? i tried the other day and it ended with me getting ran over and drug by my 4 wheeler. i had it going for a split second but i have a stock bumper on my blaster and that causes me to have to stretch out more and thus more weight goes forward and therefore throwing off the balance. ive seen other guys online do it but there bumpers arent stock and taller so they are less laid over the handle bars. even with this disadvantage im sure its possible. i only had one day of attempts. overall the hardest part is commiting to putting your weight forward and lifting your body off the quad

here's a link just in case: YouTube - Quad/Atv Superman wheelie

ha ha wheelies are fun. i actually find them easier at the dunes for some reason but I can do them almost anywhere. as far as the unicucle thing I have 2 my school had a unicycle club in it in 7th grade so that's where I learned. got my unicycle from unicyle.com looks a lil weird now though cause I'm 6'5 ha ha
